Wounded Warriors Family Support recently hosted Rod and Tracy Price and their children at the Wounded Warriors Family Support' Bahama Bay condominium in Orlando.
Rod was severely wounded last October during a mortar attack at a place known as "Camp Mortarville." He is lucky to be alive and is making great progress towards becoming whole again. I met Rod and Tracy when they were in Orlando. He has a great attitude and that spirit keeps him going.
Dear Wounded Warriors Family Support,
My name is Tracy Price and I am the spouse of a wounded solider. My husband is a member of the Kansas National Guard, and was deployed to Mosul, Iraq last year.
He was wounded in a mortar attack on October 12 , 2006. His leg wounds are visibly healed but he still has issues with pain, mobility and strength not to mention the scars.
He also has shrapnel throughout his chest area with the most serious being lodged in the muscle of his heart. We do not know nor can the doctors say for sure what the future will hold for that particular injury.
We have three great kids who have been through so much during the deployment and now with their dad being seriously wounded. We need some family connection time.
Thanks so much.
Tracy Price
